Mr. Danagher was assigned to Korea three times, 1993-97, 2009-13 and 2018-21. He has also served in Africa, Asia and Europe and his responsibilities in Ottawa focused on commercial relations with Asia, regional trade operations and intergovernmental relations. His recent role included advising on Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy.
